In this book, she deals with the violence types expressed in the British theatre in the second half of the twentieth century. The study contains nine plays by eight notable British playwrights. These plays are Look Back in Anger, The Birthday Party, Entertaining Mr Sloane, Saved, Vinegar Tom, Plenty, Blasted, Shopping and Fucking, and Cleansedin chronological order. Besides, some information about post-war British theatre and violence are presented in this work as well.
